The Department of History at Oregon State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in European History (late medieval or early modern to 1600) starting in Fall, 2014. An active research program along with the ability to teach courses in medieval and early modern history, as well as survey courses in Western Civ and/or world history, is required. Applications are encouraged from candidates with interests in the history of science, religion, or global networks. Ph.D. in history or closely-related fields must be in hand by June 2014.
