GETTING TO THE CAMPUS ON ARRIVAL IN SWANSEA

By bus

(approx. 30 mins from the train station, 15 mins from the bus & coach station)

A regular bus service, the 4 or 4A, runs from directly outside Swansea train station to the University; stopping at the Quadrant Centre bus and coach station en route. It usually passes the main entrance to the campus then loops back via Singleton Hospital to stop directly in front of Fulton House, site of the main University reception. Tickets can be added to a train ticket in advance (PlusBus tickets), purchased on board, or bought via an app:

http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/south_west_wales/journey_planning/mtickets/.

A range of other buses are available from the Quadrant Centre: the 2A and 3A stop on the campus; the 2 and 2C pass by it –  delegates taking these services should alight at the Boating Lake stop and cross the footbridge to the campus.

By taxi

(approx. 15 mins from the train station, 10 mins from the bus & coach station)

There are taxi ranks at both the train station and the Quadrant Centre bus and coach station; from the train station, travel to the campus will cost approximately £8. Taxis will normally drop visitors off outside Fulton House, but will go direct to Preseli if asked (see below).

By car

Access to the University campus by car is via Mumbles Road (A4607). For a full set of

driving directions see: http://www.swansea.ac.uk/the-university/location/directions/ . Parking on campus is extremely limited. See below for further information.
