Museum of the History of Science
Tuesday 3 December, 7pm

2013 is the centenary of the first determination of a crystal structure by x-ray diffraction, a technique vital to 20th-century science. This Nobel Prize winning work was the result of a remarkable collaboration between father and son physicists William Henry and William Lawrence Bragg. Mike Glazer, Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Oxford, presents both the scientific and personal story of the two Braggs.
